Take the STOP-BANG Sleep Apnea Quiz for Lutz Residents

A quick search online will reveal numerous quizzes and questionnaires used to help sleep dentists and physicians determine whether or not patients are at risk for sleep apnea. For years, Dr. Jay A. Nelson has relied on one of the simplest sleep apnea quizzes known as the STOP-BANG assessment to screen patients prior to their first visit to Nelson Dentistry & Dental Sleep Medicine. The acronym stands for the top 8 indicators that patients are likely to suffer from sleep apnea: Snoring, Tiredness, Observation Pressure – Body mass, Age, Neck size, and Gender. By starting from this basic understanding, we’re able to quickly and effectively help patients from the moment they walk through the door. We invite you to complete the STOP-BANG assessment below by answering 8 yes or no questions. Dr. Nelson or one of his team members will review your information and contact you within 24 hours. If you don’t hear from us or you have questions, contact our Lutz, FL team anytime with questions or to schedule an appointment.
