Dr. Nelson will discuss your hopes and expectations throughout the treatment process with you and explain each of your options. We’ll then walk you through fees & insurance coverage and begin the process by taking an impression of your mouth. As soon as your oral appliance arrives at our office, we’ll call you back in to show you how to use and maintain it.
Insurance & Payment Options
The knowledgeable team at Nelson Dental Sleep Medicine works in partnership with patients to ensure that medical insurance benefits are maximized in order to reduce stress related to financing sleep apnea therapy. Oral appliance therapy especially can be tricky since it is done by a dentist, but it’s typically covered by medical insurance. We’re happy to answer questions you may have about insurance and financing any time. Please don’t hesitate to contact our team. We’re happy to help.
We Accept Medicare
As an American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine certified oral appliance and sleep apnea treatment provider, we are able to accept Medicare DME coverage. We are very familiar with the rules and regulations associated with Medicare coverage of oral appliances. Let us know right away if you’d like to make the most of your Medicare benefits. We’re happy to develop your treatment plan to maximize Medicare coverage.
